energy project developer - projects ranging from hydroelectric and large coal
fires steam plants to geothermal.
President, Great American Energy Seattle, Washington (2004 to present) Renewable energy developer and
independent power producer focused on geothermal, hydroelectric, wind, solar, ethanol biomass, waste heat
recovery and new energy technologies with current projects in Washington and Nevada.
President, WPI, Seattle, Washington (1982-1986). Directed all operations of the Pacific Northwest’s largest
private hydro developer; reviewed federal and state law; supervised site selection and being granted 58 FERC
permits with a construction value of $354 million; led negotiations with state and federal agencies and an Indian
tribe on environmental issues; and negotiated PPA contracts with major utilities.
President, PolarStar Corporation, Seattle, WA (1996-1999). Directed successful negotiations to acquire the
rights to build and operate electrical power plants in China. Sold two power projects to large international power
companies for $51 million.
